ADD FILES TO TEFVIEW ON PHONE APK
apk file from ? I ask as Kindle will not allow access to teh Google Play Store. " Just a thought Owen - where did you download the TefView. I posted the below to help Owen get TefView for Android running on his Kindle Fire and it worked for him - here is hoping you can do the same: I have no idea whether this is a possibility under Android or iOS versions. In the PC version of TefView (and TablEdit) it is possible to assign SoundFonts and have them used during the playback - some of the FREE soundfonts available can give very good play-back sounds indeed. Perhaps I am wrong and somebody else can point me in the correct direction ? If all you want is to be able to hear how the tune goes and to be able to play along with it then I think the sound (even of the banjo) is OK but if you are after a performance element to the played back tunes then I doubt that at this time in the technology that will be possible. I suppose it depends upon what you want the sound for in your use of the app. The banjo on my Google Nexus-10 tablet also sounds roughish but I am quite happy with the guitar sound (not a real guitar of course but a midi sounds representation). Must admit I do not know whether all Android devices use the same midi sounds or not. Sadly, the author of TefView has no impact on the sounds in the Android version - it depends upon the synthesiser in your Android device. I hope that will help all the Banjo players here and especially those with a collection of TabRite files or those who download such files from the tab library. Here is hoping it works well and that Matthieu will consider then adding the same facility to all versions of TefView in the near future.
